Pure Junk - Most Frustrating POS EverJul 24, 2010 Wow - where to start - this was such a letdown that it ended up smashed on the floor. At best, it would move the curser and click ok but when you went to type any text, it would just skip about 25% of what was typed. So it would take you a long long time to type anything out that would work. It ate batteries big time which alone makes this a very expensive gadget to own - oh yeah, you'll be replacing way more batteries than you need to because you'll be blaming the batteries on it's poor performance. My advice is not to walk but run away from this piece of junk.

Things to consider before you buy!Jul 22, 2010 This wireless keyboard is 90% great and 10% horrible. I did read other reviews that warned of "choppy" connection with 2.4 Ghz RF transmitters and bought this anyway because it was cheaper than the blue-tooth models I was looking at. I now regret that decision and have all but stopped using the keyboard. I don't know what it is, but even when mousing it just "skips" around. I had hoped for better.
On the plus side - the design of this keyboard is great. The design is ergonomic, the scroll wheel and mouse keys are in just the right places, and the shape is almost perfect for sitting on the couch and typing or surfing the web (I hooked my netbook to my TV - hence the need for this style of keyboard). If this exact same style of keyboard is available with a better connection type (I can't personally vouch for blue-tooth, but a friend told me it was better) then I would recommend trying that. I love the design and layout, just can't live with the RF.
Very well designedJul 07, 2010 Ergonomics are outstanding, an excellent well design product. I have been using this for about 18 months now and I've had no issues.
Perfect for HTPCJul 04, 2010 Initially had the same issues mentioned above, about some keystrokes not registering. The USB receiver was connected at the back of the case, connecting it in the front, having a more direct line of sight fixed the problem. I am guessing less obstructions, less scattering of the wireless signal. Happy with the purchase, but not as small as I would have thought (should have looked at the dimensions)
OutstandingJun 28, 2010 I love this keyboard.
Pros:
-Excellent build quality and reliability. I have had this unit for over a year and a half with no issues.
-Range has never been an issue for me (I sit ~7ft. away from the receiver, without a direct line of sight, and have never had a problem)
-Built-in-mouse is excellent - very intuitive and works great, although it's a little more difficult to use precisely than a touchpad or regular mouse. I tried a separate keyboard and mouse for a while, but this is SO MUCH more convenient the way I use it (lounging around in a chair or in bed).
-Convenient buttons - having both a "trigger" option as well as a right- and left-click mouse button on the upper left side of the keyboard makes the keyboard very easy to use
-Good battery life - I probably have to replace the batteries 1-2 times a year with light use.
Cons:
-My only minor complaint about it is that for some reason, Fn+F7 switches displays on the keyboard of the laptop it is connected to, but for some reason the same key combination doesn't switch displays on the wireless keyboard. Not sure why this is, but it's a minor complaint, and not enough for me to to dock such a reliable and intuitive component from its 5 star rating. I don't know whether this will apply for other people as well or now.
