 Great Cell Phone for SeniorsJun 27, 2010
I bought this phone for my elderly mother, who needed a cell phone to use in a nursing home. This phone has very large number keys and a loud ringer. It is fairly easy to use. It is just a phone, nothing else. It is just what she needed. Have not had any problems so far with it. The only thing is it is pretty pricey for just a cell phone, but amazon had the best price. Also, you can use this phone on an existing cell phone plan, unlike the jitterbug phone that works only on their own system.

amazon sent me a clearity900 cell phone that i did not order and i am having difficulty obtaining all my charges refunded after returning the cell phone. i wonder about amazon being an ethical company. alex

I purchased this phone because I needed a amplified phone for my hearing impairment. After recieveing it, it would not work right. It was not as advertized per the volume Level. The selling merchant said to go to manufactorer for replacement The manufactorer said to go to the seller. I have a phone that would not hold a charge and the Manufactorer offered to sell me a new battery for a phone several days old? I ended up buying the Jitterbug telephone. Works great no problems. Threw away this phone. Was not worth the running around and aggravation. Do not waste your money. Bad device with no customer support at all. Lots of hype that is totally untrue. Once you buy you are ignored.

Perfect Senior Cell Phone- Easy to See and Easy to UseDec 12, 2008
I bought this Clarity cell phone for my mom who is 67. She has never been one for technology but needs a cell phone. We've gone through a few different models and all of them have buttons that are too small or lots of features and menu choices that she gets lost and confused. The Clarity Cell Phone is extremely basic and not for my taste- but it is just perfect for my mom. It is very straight forward and has just the necessary functions- along with a emergency button which makes me feel more at ease as she often does errands by herself. The buttons are huge for a cell phone and it is quite loud, I was able to hold the phone 2 feet out in front of me and could hear the conversation just fine (no it does not have a speaker phone). While it's a bit pricey- I didn't have to change her service like I would have if I got the Jitterbug. All I had to do was charge the phone and then take her sim card out of her existing phone and placed it in this Clarity phone and it worked right away! I would recommend the Clarity Cell Phone to anyone who wants an easy to use cell phone.
